- Clients can use our new online portal to enter their company information just one time, select every State they need to apply for, and we’ll take over from there to apply with all the necessary agencies to make sure they’re set up correctly.
- It’s equally important to close unneeded accounts, because… If a business has an open payroll tax account in a State, the State agencies require them to file a payroll tax return, even if there were no employees on payroll during that period. (Many agencies do not allow closures to be done online).
- We will provide you with confirmation of the account number once assigned by the state agency. Once you have submitted the registration application and payment to FPC, you can log into our portal at any time to obtain the status of the application process. You also will have the ability to send a message to the Forensic Payroll Consultants team or upload any documents you receive from the state agencies.

Forensic Payroll only applies for/closes payroll tax IDs, not other business registrations so we’re hyper-focused on payroll tax compliance.
Yes, once you complete the information in the application process, simply provide your provider’s contact information in the Message function, and will forward the information to that person.
